I would like to take the opportunity in wishing all SAACDHE members a SUPERB start to the year. I know this letter is late, but I know that time is always against us. We have certainly experienced life surviving a challenging time through the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown regulations in our country. To this I say, give yourself applause.
We also were very concerned after not having a physical conference in 2020 and celebrating our first Virtual Conference in 2021 hosted by the Free State Region. What started with great difficulty, we eventually reached super great lengths. Our members certainly provided great quality and relevant research even through these uncanny times. I can congratulate all our members for believing in the SAACDHE vision and mission and not losing hope.
I would like to remind you to please complete the online registration for your SAACDHE Membership for 2022. Please request your HOD/ Director to complete the Institutional Member Registration form. Also, add your information on the Individual Registration Form. This will allow you to officially become a SAACDHE member and enjoy the gratuities associated with it.
Thank you for instilling hope and trust as the SAACDHE President for 2022. I have a wonderful group of colleagues whom I know are committed to this great association. SAACDHE would be nothing without its admirable membership.
Please remember to start any new venture with your feet grounded as you do not want to lose your balance…
