Procedure to join

The SAACDHE Executive Management Committee looks forward to welcoming you once again to the SAACDHE team.  The membership application and fees are due for the cycle from 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2024. Please note the procedure as follows:

  1. Each institution must complete a new institutional membership application form for each new cycle and submit the membership form reflecting the details of the staff you are applying for. Please only submit one application for membership per institution. As part of the application, also attach the institutional membership list.
  2. An invoice will be generated.
  3. Your institution will use the invoice generated by SAACDHE to effect membership payment. Institutions may not create their own invoice.
  4. Your payment must have a reference as indicated on the invoice to identify and allocate it as a payment from your institution.
  5. Once payment is made by your institution, forward proof of payment as per the information on the Invoice.
  6. If payment is made after 31 July 2024, a penalty of 20% of the existing individual membership fee will be levied. After 31 July 2024 members who have not paid the current fees will forfeit all rights and privileges of the Association until outstanding fees have been paid.
