Dear SAACDHE members,
The start of a new year is a busy time for most of us and it has definitely been so in my case. It is only now, towards the end of the second month of the year, that I can write a proper word of welcome and say “Happy New Year!”. I hope that 2019 is a peaceful and prosperous new year for all SAADCHE members.
2019 is going to be an exciting year for SAACDHE as we will be celebrating our 40th birthday! We are looking forward to an amazing conference in September, so please get your abstracts ready! I wish the Eastern Cape region and the conference organising committee all the best for the conference preparations. I know that you will be entering a very stressful time now.
As per usual, I think that each region will be very busy with their own CPD activities. I wish all the regions a productive 2019!
I am going to end my 2019 welcome with C.S. Lewis – “There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
